The winning entries will be shown at the Euromold fair in November.

The German company Purmundus, in partnership with Euromold organiser Demat, said it is conducting a contest for 3D printing, and some winners could take home cash awards.

Purmundus said the theme of this year’s international design competition is “Print up your life – How does 3D printing change our world?”

The organiser said it “is inviting designers, graphic designers, architects, mathematicians, engineers and programmers to make new approaches to product design solutions.”

The company noted that it will offer prizes worth a total of €3,000.
