  1. I’ve been printing with all sorts of different ABS filament colors, brands and even some specialty stuff. IC3d is leading the pack.The filament i got, 1.75mm Blue ABS, is visabily much nicer than others i’ve seen… not sure if that means anything but the filament is glossy on the surface versus the dull matte you usually see. Another great side note, this filament is so pure (without filler) that i usually need to get my wire snips to cut off a piece. it is the opposite of…

  2. This is not a bad review of IC3D’s products in general, I really like their stuff. This particular spool (my first in the blue ABS) has been VERY picky about temperatures, and wouldn’t adhere to my printbed (kapton-covered) at less than 145C. Similarly, the hotend needed to be 245C to get good printing. It may be the batch that I got a spool from, or just the dark pigment causing the difference in behavior over IC3D’s usually outstanding filament. I’ve bought and used their natural, silver,…
